Services

Restaurant

10-15% of the bill is usual.
Tipping is not done in the pub. If you want to reward the bartender, buy a beer or a drink. Some pub owners also have a jar on the counter for tipping coins.

Taxi

In the UK it is quite normal to tip taxi drivers. It is customary to round up the fare to the nearest pound. For help with luggage or as a thank you for excellent service, 10-15% of the fare as a tip is a nice gesture.

Stylist/Cosmetics

10% of the bill is polite. For apprentices you can also give a few pounds.

Tip@Click Expert-Tipp:

In pubs in the UK you are not served. You order drinks and food at the counter, pay for them directly and take them to your table.
